Brand New Day: A Sans Serif Font for Modern Web Design

I was working on a new portfolio site for a creative agency when I stumbled upon Brand New Day. As a UI designer, I was looking for a font that could balance approachability with a touch of personality. Brand New Day, a fun and simple sans serif font, immediately caught my eye. It’s handwritten, which gives it a relaxed and airy vibe—perfect for a digital brand that wants to feel both modern and human.

Brand New Day for Creative Portfolio Websites

Testing Brand New Day in the hero section of the portfolio site, I noticed how it added a bit of visual intrigue without overwhelming the design. The font’s subtle handwritten style made the text feel more personal, which aligned well with the agency’s creative identity. I used it for headings and key project titles, ensuring it remained legible across different screen sizes and device orientations.

On mobile, Brand New Day performed exceptionally well. Its clean lines and open shapes made it easy to read even at smaller sizes. I paired it with a simpler sans serif font for body copy, creating a clear visual hierarchy that guided users through the content effortlessly. This contrast helped maintain readability while keeping the design visually engaging.

Brand New Day for Boutique Online Stores

A few weeks later, I was designing a landing page for a boutique online store selling handmade skincare products. The brand wanted to convey warmth and authenticity, so I thought Brand New Day would be a great fit. Its handwritten quality felt natural for product descriptions and promotional banners, adding a sense of craftsmanship to the layout.

I used Brand New Day as the primary font for headlines and call-to-action buttons, ensuring it stood out against the background. On dark backgrounds, the font’s light strokes created a nice contrast, making it pop. For the product titles, I opted for a slightly bolder weight of Brand New Day to emphasize key details without sacrificing readability.

Brand New Day for Coaching Websites

When working on a coaching website, I needed a font that felt welcoming and trustworthy. Brand New Day’s relaxed vibe worked well with the brand’s mission of promoting self-care and mindfulness. I used it for the homepage heading and featured testimonials, where its friendly tone helped build rapport with the audience.

For the navigation menu, I paired Brand New Day with a more structured sans serif font to maintain professionalism. This combination allowed the design to feel both approachable and credible. I also tested Brand New Day on image overlays, finding that it worked best when placed over lighter backgrounds or with slight transparency to ensure clarity.

Brand New Day for Product Landing Pages

While designing a product landing page for a digital course, I wanted the font to reflect the creativity and innovation of the content. Brand New Day’s playful yet professional look made it an excellent choice for headlines and key selling points. I used it for the headline and subheadings, allowing the body copy to use a more traditional sans serif font for better readability.

One thing I noticed was how Brand New Day handled small text elements like buttons and form labels. Even at smaller sizes, the font maintained its character without becoming too cramped. I made sure to test it on various devices, including tablets and smartphones, to ensure consistent performance across all platforms.

Brand New Day for Blog Headers and Digital Brand Kits

When redesigning a blog header, I was looking for a font that could represent both the brand’s voice and its visual identity. Brand New Day’s simplicity and charm made it a strong contender. I used it for the main title and featured articles, giving the blog a cohesive and modern look.

As part of the digital brand kit, I included Brand New Day alongside other fonts to create a versatile typography system. This allowed the brand to maintain consistency across different platforms, from social media graphics to email newsletters. I also checked the font’s multilingual support and commercial licensing to ensure it was suitable for long-term use in international markets.

Brand New Day for Campaign Landing Pages

For a recent campaign landing page, I needed a font that could capture attention quickly while still being easy to read. Brand New Day’s handwritten style added a unique flair that matched the campaign’s theme. I used it for the headline and key message, ensuring it was large enough to stand out but not so bold that it became distracting.

On the landing page, I paired Brand New Day with a more neutral sans serif font for the body text. This helped create a clear visual distinction between the headline and supporting content. I also made sure to include alternate weights and styles, giving the design more flexibility for different sections and user interactions.

Brand New Day for Small Business Websites

When working on a small business website, I focused on creating a design that felt authentic and relatable. Brand New Day’s relaxed and airy vibe aligned perfectly with the brand’s values. I used it for the logo text and main headings, ensuring it reflected the brand’s personality while remaining professional.

For the contact section, I used a slightly thinner weight of Brand New Day to make the text feel more inviting. I also tested it against different background colors, finding that it worked best on light backgrounds or with a subtle gradient overlay. Overall, Brand New Day proved to be a versatile and effective choice for a wide range of web design projects.
